Our story

Built because the old way wasn't working.

Ryan founded OAR after years of watching construction teams make critical decisions from unreliable data. Outdated drawings, manual measurements, and assumptions that contradicted field conditions led to the same outcomes over and over: rework, cost overruns, schedule delays, and coordination failures that should have been preventable.

He saw an opportunity to build something different. Not just a company that captures reality, but one that helps teams use that reality to plan, coordinate, and execute with confidence. That idea became OAR.

Today, OAR partners with construction teams, engineers, industrial owners, and fabricators across the country. We replace assumptions with verified reality and turn that reality into better decisions, fewer surprises, and faster project delivery.

Why OAR

Not just a scanning company.

01

One partner, full lifecycle

One partner from scan to decision.

OAR combines 3D Laser Scanning with BIM Coordination & Virtual Construction and Digital Delivery & Implementation under one roof. You don’t need to manage multiple vendors or wonder whether your data will actually get used. We make sure it does.

02

In-house field technology

We never outsource your data.

OAR’s field technology team is fully in-house. We don’t contract out scanning, reality capture, or photogrammetry. That means better data quality, faster mobilization, and a team that is constantly advancing how we capture and deliver.

03

Built for complex environments

Industrial. High stakes. High complexity.

OAR’s roots are in the most demanding environments in construction: recycling facilities, manufacturing plants, food production, and heavy industrial retrofits. We work where precision, coordination, and speed all matter at once.

04

Software-agnostic, client-first

The right tools for your project, not ours.

We don’t push a single platform. OAR evaluates your needs and recommends the tools and workflows that fit your project: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, Cintoo, or something else entirely. Our loyalty is to your outcome.

Our approach

Data unity: one trusted environment.

The gap between what gets captured and what actually drives decisions is where projects lose time, money, and confidence. OAR’s job is to close that gap. We take data from every source, every discipline, and every phase of your project and turn it into something your team can act on: in the field, in the model, and at the table where decisions get made.

The full loop
Real

We capture what exists. As-built conditions, existing structure, live facility geometry. No assumptions, no outdated drawings.

Virtual

We model what’s planned. Coordination models, clash detection, constructability review. The full design lives in one trusted environment.

Real

We push it back into the field so it gets built right. That full loop is what separates OAR from companies that stop at the scan or stop at the model.

Hardware and software agnosticism

We are not married to any vendor, any platform, or any collection method. That independence is the reason clients trust us to be the integrator. We serve the project, not the tool.

Discipline bridging

Real coordination requires connecting structural, mechanical, civil, and environmental data into a single coherent model. We speak every discipline’s language and translate between them so nothing gets lost in the handoff.

Trust in the model

Collaboration doesn’t happen until people trust the data. When every stakeholder can look at the same model and know it reflects reality, that’s when real coordination begins. Building that trust is the actual deliverable.

AI-ready data architecture

AI doesn’t work on fragmented data. The organizations investing in data unification today are building the foundation that makes next-generation tools usable when they mature. We build that foundation on every engagement.

The most valuable thing we bring to a project is rarely the deliverable itself. It is the ability to understand what a client actually needs, sometimes before they can articulate it, and translate that into technical work that solves the right problem.

That means listening across disciplines, connecting dots between what an owner wants, what an engineer needs, and what a contractor can execute. Then building the model, the workflow, or the coordination environment that makes all three possible at once.

OAR is not just a scanning company or a BIM firm. We are a technical resource that stays in the room, leads the hard conversations, and delivers work that moves projects forward. That is what we mean when we say we stay engaged beyond the handoff.

What drives us

The principles behind every project.

01

Problem finders, not just problem solvers

At OAR, we do more than deliver what is asked for. We look for what others miss. By examining outdated processes and uncovering hidden coordination risks, we help clients avoid problems they did not know they had. Through 3D Laser Scanning, BIM Coordination & Virtual Construction, and Digital Delivery & Implementation, we turn those discoveries into lasting efficiencies.

02

Communication is the whole point

Every service OAR provides is, at its core, about making sure everyone on a project is working from the same verified truth. We invest just as much in understanding our clients goals, constraints, and priorities as we do in the technical work. Solutions that do not fit the team do not get used.

Our people

The team behind the work.
